👻 All About Clearings 👻

I recently presented at Engel Volkers Real Estate office in Marin County to show them how important it is to clear a property. Buyers pick up very quickly if they like a home or not, despite the new paint and finishes or views. And if the energies are stagnant, uncomfortable or scary in any way, people will simply not make an offer and leave quickly. The seller ends up sitting on an otherwise great home that is waiting for a new owner.

That’s where I come in!

So, what does it mean to clear a property?

And why would one need to do it?

There are lots of old energies in homes and properties that influence how we live and experience the space. I pick up on a lot including energies from a death, fire, tragedy or just major fighting from the previous owners. Those energies doesn’t necessarily dissipate because it’s not currently happening anymore. And if there was a death on the property, just because it may have happened 20 years ago, doesn’t mean that there’s that soul is gone, if they chose to stick around for a particular reason.

Often children are more able to see and feel energies, even are more susceptible to them because of their innocence, that we as adults have mentally/emotionally blocked over time.

How do we know if we need a clearing? The negative energies or attachments stay around and can be experienced in a negative way, can be a drain on our system or our relationships. It can make us tired, uneasy, more aggressive. It all depends on the situation.

I shared some of my favorite ghost stories and a few agents chimed in and shared their own stories of feeling the heebie-jeebies with a listing or two. One was so bad that the agents hired someone like me to clear the property and it worked well! New clients came in and said “I really like the energy here.” Soon after it SOLD!

If properties can have these energies, attachments, and old histories, can we have attachments, too? Yes, we can and often do. Every time I work with someone for life coaching, we always do a clearing first. If we don’t then the new learning and energetic shifts will meet some serious resistance.

And if you have worked with me in the past, you know how well the clearing works, too!

One client was cautiously optimistic with her clearing, which I love and respect. I want people to poke their stick at new experiences.

She told me she had gotten an aura reading after the clearing I did for her. The aura reader used some special equipment where even your aura could be photographed and the guy couldn’t find anything to fix or clean up. He told her it was very rare not to at least see one shadow on a person. Lo and behold! she told him she got a clearing the week before (with me) and he said “Well, it worked!” When she told me about her aura analysis, I got really excited, because I like that the results of my work can actually be “seen.”

Now, why would one want a clearing done? There are a million reasons but often people come to me because of triggers, anxiety, depression, malaise, unworkable patterns they have tried to change but can’t. One person had persistent nightmares that were the same every time.

Once I cleared her, she never had the nightmare again. She had an energetic attachment (aka ghost) who wanted to help her through her sad times. He was sad, too, lost his family and tried to help. It’s a wonderful story but that story is for another time. 🙂 

Not everything I clear is “ghost” related or ancestor related, but just a reset is needed from old tired energies that have been with you for way too long.
